• 1929년에 설립된 아주 아름다운 캠퍼스를 갖고 있는 학교로, UC 계열 편입학생 및 편입율이 가장 높은 학교여서 UC계열 및 CSU계열로 편입을 원하는 학생들이 많이 선택하는 학교 입니다.
• 해변과 가까이 위치해 있고 Los Angeles 와 근접해 있어 아름다운 자연과 대도시를 모두 경험할 수 있는 학교 입니다.
• 국제 학생 학비는 약 $6,000~$7,000정도로 아주 학비가 저렴한 편 입니다.
• 일반 사설 어학원을 통해서 TOEFL 등의 영어 성적을 면제 받을 수 있습니다. 대표적인 학교로는

• UC계열로 편입율이 높은 만큼 다양한 국제학생들이 있고 한인비율도 어느정도 있는 편 입니다.

• 아쉽게도 학교 내 캠퍼스 하우징은 제공되지 않고, 주변의 사설 하우징을 이용해야 합니다.
• TOEFL 점수 45점 , TOEFL 점수없이 연계 어학원을 통하여 가능

Area Info
SMC는 Los Angeles 근교에 위치해 있으며 UCLA, UCS 캠퍼스와도 가깝습니다. LA 다운타운과도 약 30분 거리로 대도시와 근접해 있어 편리한 생활권을 제공합니다. LA 공항과도 근접해 있고 아름다운 해변가와 공원들과도 가까운 거리에 있습니다.

Winter Session 1월 시작 – 10/15 (미국 밖에 있는 경우), 11/15 (미국 내에 있는 경우)
Spring Session 2월 시작 – 10/15 (미국 밖에 있는 경우), 1/5 (미국 내에 있는 경우)
Summer Session 6월 시작 – 4/15 (미국 밖에 있는 경우), 5/15 (미국 내에 있는 경우)
Fall Session 8월 시작 – 7/1 (미국 밖에 있는 경우), 7/15 (미국 내에 있는 경우)

Admission
필요서류: 모든 서류는 사본(스캔본)으로 제줄 가능
1) 여권, 비자, I-20 사본 (있는경우)
2) 영문성적증명, 졸업증명 (고등학교 & 대학교)
3) 영문은행잔고증명
4) 영어성적 (토플 IBT 45점 또는 – 일반 사설 어학원을 통해 TOEFL 등의 영어 성적을 면제 받을 수 있습니다.
대표적인 학교로는 Kaplan, FLS 등의 어학원이 있습니다.
5) 영문 에세이
